UAB Campus Transit and Mobility Study

Engaged to move UAB's campus transportation from a functional but fragmented system to an integrated, data-driven mobility ecosystem, following a competitive RFP process. The scope covers transit network redesign and a transit operator RFP, parking, bike/ped, and demand management, organized around a Campus Mobility Framework and operations dashboards UAB's own team will run after the engagement ends. Developed OHSU's 10-year TDM Plan (adopted 2017, 5-year update in 2023) as subconsultant to prime consultant Nelson\Nygaard: a 30% employee drive-alone target by 2028, backed by 34 recommendations. Directly informed the wage-based daily parking pricing program, the Luum commute platform, subsidized carpooling via Scoop, and the Lyft Off shift-worker partnership — OHSU's wage-based parking system won IPMI's 2022 Award of Merit for Innovation.

Led SEA MOVES: a commute program for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport's thousands of employees. Phase 1 (with subconsultant Nelson\Nygaard) evaluated a Transportation Management Association and built an Action Plan; phase 2 developed transit-pass, carpool, and active-transportation programs, prioritizing lower-wage airport workers. Led to a Port Commission order funding a worker transit-pass program.

Amazon Global Commute Program Review

Strategic review of Amazon's global employee commute program. Included an on-site research visit to Amazon's Hyderabad and Bangalore facilities to study the India Shared Cab program — serving more than 30,000 employees and 200,000+ rides per month across a fleet of 4,500+ vehicles — and its command-center operations for scheduling, dispatch, and rider safety. Findings informed recommendations on commute program management structure and cost allocation for AMER and other regions.
